This is my favorite season of the year and I could hardly wait for fall to start! I am on fall break right now and I took a little 5 hour road trip to the Dallas area from Lubbock. I went with my roomie, Mel, to Plano to visit her family and go to the Tech vs. Baylor game (which by the way we won Wreck 'Em Tech!) and then Saturday night I headed over to my cuddy's Lindsay's house for a little visit. My Aunt and Uncle picked me up from Linz's house and I got to stay at their house (like old times aka the summerrr).
My grandparents came in on Sunday and brought in some goodies from my mom (go mom!). Get ready roomies because our apt is about to be decked out in Halloween goodness! We just relaxed and caught up all day and I ended up going to bed before everyone at 9pm - wow I needed sleep because I slept until 9am.
After I was well rested I caught up with my Aunt on some HGTV wonderfulness and got ready for our day trip to the arboretum. It was decked out in pumpkins and had a precious little pumpkin patch. I took some fun pictures of my cousins and grandparents and enjoyed being out in nature instead of being locked up in a classroom on a normal monday.
Unfortunately fall break is over tomorrow and I have to head out at 10am to go back to Lubbock :( These breaks are so short - they are such a tease! Luckily I have my entertaining roommate, Mel, to my the ride back really amusing and entertaining.
