Head Over Wedding Heels

Today ended with sore feet from walking around boutiques and malls searching for the perfect wedding heels. I am very picky about what heels I will be wearing on my wedding day. They need to be flattering to my foot, at least four inches high, (yes I would like to be closer to Ryan's eye-level which is 6'3") dazzled in sparkles and a nude or off-white color. Not too hard to find right? Wrong! I will now have to resort to the world wide web in search for the ideal heels.

In spite of my unlucky heel hunt, my fiance', Ryan, was on Stumble Upon and stumbled on great heel innovations! I am always amazed at the wonderful creativity this world holds. He tried to send me the link from Stumble Upon, but it is lost in space. So here is a link to some crazy heels.

Sorority suggestion of the day

Who doesn't love comfort color sorority tees? I sure do love them! They are so comfortable (just as the name would suggest) and the style looks worn.

However, no one mentions these shirts BLEED like crazy in the wash, even if you wash them on cold cold cold. Therefore, because there is no bleeding warning on the tag I have learned the hard way (many white shirts turned pink) about the correct way wash comfort color tees.

The Sorority Suggestion of the Day is to invest in Shout Color Catcher. It can be purchased at grocery stores for a few bucks or grab your promo sample at Southern Savers.

Use the easy instructions to save your comfort tees while washing with other clothes:

1. Add 1 sheet of Shout Color Catcher to your laundry load before you add your clothes (use at least two if your working with dark colors or barely worn tees)
2. Wash clothes on cold with your usual detergent
3. Say Oh! Ah! at the amount of color that shows up on your Shout Color Catcher from your tees

There ya have it The Sorority Suggestion of the Day!

Kappa Alpha Theta

I LOVE taking portraits and I love THETA! I was lucky to have Joni - our Theta President from this past year ask me to take her pictures for a job application. I also was lucky to have the opportunity to take pictures for our Tech Theta website. I must say we have one beautiful president and lodge!

Finally Black and White Prints

Last semester has come and gone...so I figured it was time to post some black and white photos from my photography class. Black and white film photography was definitely a learning experience. I enjoyed the tedious steps it took to process, develop, and enlarge the film. The last half of the semester was digital so I hope you can figure out which pictures are which.

I loved film photography so much I decided to take an intermediate black and white film photography class this semester - with my same professor which was a HUGE plus!

Enjoy!
